The University of Newcastle – John Hunter Hospital Fitout

Situated within the upper floors of the John Hunter Hospital (JHH), Collaborative completed a sophisticated 1,500sqm office and medical fitout for The University of Newcastle.

Our team integrated a functional design that catered to both office requirements and medical specifications. The fitout included research facilities, modern office spaces, and specialised areas designed for student training. By employing innovative construction techniques and working closely with the Client we were able to incorporate sustainable practices, reflecting the University’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The project was also delivered with minimal disruption to the 24hr pathology unit directly below.

The new facilities now serve as a hub for academic excellence and healthcare innovation, demonstrating our ability to execute projects that meet the unique needs of our clients in the education and health sectors.
