The project was delivered over stages, with the facility remaining occupied and fully operational. Works were carefully planned and managed to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents was maintained at all times.

The project resulted in the complete reconstruction of 80 resident rooms, lounge spaces, dining and activity spaces as well as new office and administration facilities. As part of the building refurbishment works, all building services were upgraded, including a new substation, main switchboard, nurse call, and security systems, along with the construction of a 600sqm carpark and extensive civil and landscaping works to better serve the needs of the residents and visitors.
