Gosford Hospital Palliative Care Unit

We delivered a comprehensive refurbishment within Gosford Hospital’s existing infrastructure, transforming the facility into a modern palliative care centre. This project was driven by a pressing need within the community for dedicated palliative care services and conversion of underutilised spaces to create a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.

The project encompassed the development of serene external areas, thoughtfully designed to offer tranquillity and comfort for patients experiencing end-of-life care. These spaces were complemented by the addition of palliative care accommodation, ensuring that families could stay close to their loved ones in a homely and supportive setting. The project also included the construction of family rooms, offering private spaces for patients and their guests.

Throughout the project, Collaborative maintained a focus on delivering a facility that not only meets the current demands but is also adaptable for future needs.
